A Body In A Bag

A 60 year old man was found dead under this bridge by my house.  I just happened to be going to the store when I saw the scene.  I pulled over to snap my POTD just as they were putting the body in the van.  I checked the news and no foul play was involved but they did not release the the cause of death was or the reason he was there.  He had been reported as missing the day before.  It was really sad.

Modern Convenience

My DSL modem died today.   Century Link is sending me a new one but it won't be here for 2 days.  I have an old modem but it doesn't have wireless capabilities.  I think I'm going to die without wireless internet.  LOL

Bill and Ben decided it was time to try the latest No Diet Diet fad.  Without restriction they were sure to put on a few pounds.

Not the fish oil, the smoothie next to it. :)  I found a new recipe and I love it.

2 cups pineapple

1 banana

1 cup orange juice

5 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.

How do you prefer to read a book?  For me it depends on the type of book.  I love the smell and feel of a physical book, but it's sure nice to read a 500 page book on my Kindle.

Last year at this time the price of gas was $3.46 a gallon. I've been anticipating a price hike for the past several weeks. Today was the first time I've paid $50.00 to fill up my car. When I first started driving I paid about $1.00 a gallon for gas. Today I am thankful I work at home.
